| The internal design of the ME2 is unique from all other rotary
internal combustion engines. |
| During the power stroke the force on the momentum arm remains
perpendicular for the duration of the power stroke and the force
is applied to the momentum arm at the optimum distance for the duration
of the power stroke, resulting in a high torque output. |
| Force from the combustion of fuel sets one disc into rotation.
Opposing force from unburned fuel compressing brings the disc to
a stop. This cycle repeats itself. This unique feature results in
the ME2 having a lower fuel to output ratio than other rotary internal
combustion engines. |
| Both forces ie: (the force that propel the disc and the force
that stops the disc) are directly in front of the piston and directly
in back of the piston respectively, this feature keeps both forces
directly opposing each other. This means there are no forces which
adds stress to internal parts, which is prevalent on many common
internal combustion engines, not just rotary ones. |
| This unique design enables the ME2 to be constructed from mainly
ceramic material. All the resulting features make the ME2 simple
in design, powerful, efficient, durable and lightweight setting
it apart from other rotary internal combustion engines. |
